Lactation Support

She has led breastfeeding group clinics at multiple pediatric practices in New York City, has a published article in the Clinical Lactation Journal, has been consulted by Parents Magazine and Today’s Parent, and was a guest speaker at the NYC Breastfeeding Leadership Council Conference of 2019. She served for 4 years on the board of the New York Lactation Consultant’s Association (NYLCA) and is a proud retired leader of La Leche League.

Marianne’s passion for lactation support began with her own experience as a new mother. After experiencing difficulties breastfeeding her first baby, she learned firsthand how important skilled, compassionate support can be during the early days of parenthood. With the right support, Marianne went on to breastfeed all three of her children. This personal experience inspired her to become a lactation consultant so that she could help other families navigate the challenges and joys of breastfeeding with confidence and support.

Her professional experience includes working in both hospital and private practice settings, supporting families with a wide range of feeding needs. Marianne believes that every breastfeeding journey is unique and is passionate about providing individualized, evidence-based care while meeting families where they are.

She is excited to facilitate weekly breastfeeding support groups and create a welcoming space where parents can connect, share experiences, ask questions, and feel supported throughout their feeding journey.
